The Prindle School is a music school in the Pioneer Valley of Massachusetts offering private music lessons, classes, and ensembles. We have three convenient locations:

Our faculty have a wealth of experience delivering exactly the right program of lessons for each individual client: young children as they begin their music journey, highly dedicated professional musicians, adult learners who hope to bring more joy into their lives, and everything in between.
Zach Robarge holds a B.M. from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and is currently a Performance Certificate candidate at UMASS. He specializes in saxophone, clarinet, flute, and oboe and has experience as a performer and teacher of each. He has played extensively in pit orchestras for theatre companies such as Barrington Stage Company and the Berkshire Theatre Group. As an educator, Zach teaches privately at The Prindle School and in the Belchertown School District. A versatile teacher, he works with a wide variety of students of all ages in both jazz and classical styles.
Clair Cangialosi graduated in the spring of 2017 from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a bachelor’s degree in music education with a concentration in bassoon. She is an avid bassoonist and contrabassoonist, performing with ensembles in both the Pioneer Valley and the New York City area.
Clair is a native of White Plains, New York. Her primary bassoon teachers are Janet Grice and Stephen Walt. She studied conducting with Dr. Matthew Westgate.
Clair is a member of the National Association for Music Education, Sigma Alpha Iota, and Women Band Directors International. She was one of two people in the country to receive the 2016 Collegiate Professional Achievement Award from the National Association for Music Education.
During her studies at UMass, she served as the music director for Sigma Alpha Iota, as well as the Secretary, Vice President and Chapter President of the UMass Collegiate Chapter of the National Association for Music Education.
